1. How many works have you published?
I have six at the moment.
2. Self-publishing or editorial?
All six of them are self-published; however, I decided to get a publisher for my next book series (The Last O’Clery Witch) and was pleased when Grendel Press made me an offer and to have the opportunity to work with them.
3. Do you plan the stories in detail before writing them, or do you let them emerge as you go?
I do a loose outline of the story beforehand, and then allow the rest to unfold as I write it. It’s super fun when the characters surprise me and takes the story in a direction I never considered going in.
4. How do you promote your works?
I do blog tours, Facebook book release party, interviews, book signings, and been featured in the local newspaper.
5. How much time do you spend writing?
I work a full-time job outside of home so during the week probably four hours a day or until I reach the word count I want to reach for that day, so it can be more hours or less.
6. Have you changed any endings after writing them?
No, I’ve always been satisfied with the endings in my books.
7. Ebook or paper book?
All my books are published in both formats.
8. How long does your documentation process take?
Three to six months.
9. Any advice to new writers?
Yes, read, read, read, and write what you love despite what’s popular at the moment. If you love what you write, you won’t get bored with the story and abandon it.
10. Please tell us about your most recent published work and explain to readers what they will find in it.
Honestly, I haven’t published anything in years; however, I will be having a book come out sometime this year with Grendel Press. It’s called The Last O’Clery Witch. Here’s what they wrote about this upcoming release:
Ainsley McGregor, the last of the powerful O’Clery witches, breaks centuries-old rules when supernatural secrets unravel around her, forcing her into a perilous journey involving a cute vampire, a pesky spirit, a demanding half-demon, and a surprising reunion with her twin brother, as she grapples with the consequences of her family’s doomed legacy and the threat of Hell descending upon their small paranormal-infested town.
I’m excited about this book, and I’m looking forward to it coming out. I plan on writing the second one during this summer.
My first book trilogy is called Beyond the Eyes. The first book is called (wait for it) Beyond the Eyes and is about a seventeen year old lonely girl with a psychic ability. She becomes entangled in a hidden world of dark spirits, immortals, ancient secrets, and an enchanted ring. It’s an awesome trilogy, and Ameerah, which is a spinoff to the trilogy—you don’t have to read the trilogy to read that book though—is amazing. She even has an audio book on Audible.

5. ¿Cuánto tiempo dedicas a escribir?
Trabajo a tiempo completo fuera de casa, por lo que durante la semana probablemente cuatro horas al día o hasta que alcance el número de palabras que quiero para ese día, por lo que pueden ser más horas o menos.
6. ¿Has cambiado algún final después de escribirlo?
No, siempre me he sentido satisfecho con los finales de mis libros.

Sí, lee, lee, lee y escribe lo que amas a pesar de lo que sea popular en este momento. Si amas lo que escribes, no te aburrirás de la historia ni la abandonarás.

Sinceramente, hace años que no publico nada; sin embargo, publicaré un libro en algún momento de este año con Grendel Press. Se llama La última bruja de O’Clery. Esto es lo que escribieron sobre este próximo lanzamiento:

Ella queda enredada en un mundo oculto de espíritus oscuros, inmortales, secretos antiguos y un anillo encantado. Es una trilogía increíble, y Ameerah, que es un derivado de la trilogía (aunque no es necesario leer la trilogía para leer ese libro), es increíble. Incluso tiene un audiolibro sobre Audible.
